Some Poems (November 13, 2010)
I can’t say I’m feeling particularly inspired or in any kind of creative mood, but I decided to set pen to paper anyway just to develop the habit. It’s been a pretty dull weekend, which probably doesn’t stimulate creative thought. I’d like to come back with some better creative writing for my next entry on this site.
Romance free
I happen to be
A true despair
But I cannot care.
Extolled
By untold
Millions
Of buzzing, winged
Gnats
This is the meaningless
Time
Senses dead
Seeing gray
Listless
Mind blank
Desire dead
Delirious
I woke up (again)
Feeling without you,
Awake from the fall
Sans beauteous view
And no longer in thrall?
Slumber (again)
For a precious dream
Delirious hope
